Our kids have top scoring report cards, when they can access school. Supplies are required to be funded in order to attend school such as uniforms and books.
When it is too dangerous to go to school, they need resources to learn how to upkeep the orphanage by doing self-sustaining tasks. Such as maintaining the garden towers, with the older children teaching the younger ones basic schooling and teaching basic home upkeep skills.
Funds are vital to feed 1 child for 1 month 2-3 times per day.
Without running water, limited electricity, rundown housing, and experience of life disasters, the dependability on food is one of the things that keeps the kids feeling safest.
$250/kid/month guarantees 2 full meals/day and sometimes 3 depending on inflation. Goal is to secure food for 41 kids.
Supports the salaries of staff members who work tirelessly every day (7 days a week 365 days/year) and travel by foot for hour to 2 hours each way from their homes.
Often times staff have worked for delayed pay, despite having their own families to support.
Finding hard dependable workers is difficult with the unrest of the country, however we have loving angels supporting our orphanage.
Goal is to secure consistent pay for 9 staff who have been so loyal to our kids.
